3 Signs You Reincarnated Into This Life

reincarnateBy: Steven Bancarz / Source: Spirit Science and Metaphysics

Reincarnation is spoken of a lot as something that is a possible outcome for us when our physical bodies die. But rarely do we look at our current lives and wonder in we are a reincarnate.

I recently wrote an article titled “4 signs that this isn’t your first life on earth“, and it seemed to resonate with a lot of people. I was amazed at how many people ended up messaging me saying it made so much sense to them.

It’s not a coincidence that you happen to feel as though you have lived here before while simultaneously holding an interest for spirituality. At some point, we have to look within ourselves and wonder if we are currently living as a reincarnate.

Most people don’t read articles like this. They don’t believe in the existence of a soul, let alone reincarnation. Chances are, you are not just another number in the human population.

You have special qualities that make you feel different from other people.

I believe this is because you are part of a special group of people that reincarnated here on purpose. Maybe you came here to help others evolve, to alleviate karma, or to develop as a soul. Whatever the reason may be, here are 3 signs that you have reincarnated into this life:

1) Your life is full of lessons

rom an early age, your life has been full of lessons. Either you have been through a lot of things emotionally, or you are very reflective by nature and extract lessons from any instance you can.

From a young age, you have constantly had experiences which cause to to reflect and evolve. Other people seem to cruise through life on autopilot, but you have experienced a thing or two. And because of this, you have lots of wisdom you can offer to other people.

In fact, you may even begin to look at hardships as opportunities to evolve and will start welcoming them into your reality. This is because you reincarnated here on purpose to evolve as a soul.

You have a tendency to come across challenges in life that force you to grow and evolve, and this is all part of the plan.

Your life is more full of reflection and spiritual growth than the average person, because you came here with the mindset of treating this life as a schoolhouse for your soul.

You didn’t just come here to build a cozy nest for yourself and then die. You came here with a mission to evolve.

2) You aren’t easily fooled

You aren’t socially naive. You have been through here before, so you have a natural ability to decipher the psychological states of other individuals.

You aren’t as susceptible to brainwashing as other people, which is why you have a hard time taking the “news” seriously. You know flakiness when you see it, and subliminal messages stick out like a soar thumb for you.

You can see through people and into their real intentions, which is why people have a hard time pulling a quick one on you. Not everybody has the gift of having an awesome bullsh*t detector, and this is not just because you have a different genetic code than other people.

From a young age, you have been able to get a really good read on people. This is because you’ve been through here a few times and are familiar with different psychological games people like to play. You recognize signs when you see them.

3) You have a longing to go back home

You may not know where “home” is right now, but you know it’s not here. You KNOW, somewhere deep in your soul, that planet earth is not your final destination.

Because you know earth is not really your home, you feel a deep unease at times and start to miss where you existed prior to coming here.

We may call it Heaven or the Spirit World, but regardless of what we call it, you know within your soul that your real home is located in a realm beyond the physical.

Not everybody has this homesickness. Some people may think “what are you talking about, of course this place is home.” But for you, you have came to earth and went back to the Spirit World enough times to know where you truly belong.

You may not be able to put your finger on why it is you feel that way, and your mind may not understand it, but your soul is longing for the comfort of home.

This homesickness may also be caused by the fact that you may have family members up there who you were with prior to coming here, who are waiting for you to return after you complete your mission in this life.

If you are reading this right now, take a moment reflect on your life and the way in which you interact with it. Do you believe this to be your first time coming through here?

Has anyone ever called you an old soul before? Treat this life as your mission. You came here on purpose. You’re special. Don’t forget to look for the signs the universe is sending you each day.

7 Big Benefits of Journaling and How To Get Started Now

The practice of writing down your thoughts, hopes, dreams and life experiences is one of the most valuable and important spiritual practices one can have. This practice is known as journaling or keeping a personal diary.

I can speak from my own first hand experience that the ritual of documenting your experiences, emotions, thoughts and insights can help you move through life’s challenges as well as help you find solutions on your own by simply putting your thoughts to paper.

7 Big Benefits of Journaling:

  1. Connect with your higher self
  2. Manifest specific desires
  3. Become more psychic
  4. Remember your dreams
  5. Receive messages from your guides, crossed over loved ones, angels etc.
  6. Allow your creative flow to get moving
  7. Receive answers to some of the challenges you may be facing

These are just a few of the many benefits you may receive from a regular journal practice.Writing in your journal is an interesting process.

I have been “shown” by my guides the actual process of what is going on in the etheric realms when we sit down and allow thoughts and ideas to move through us from the etheric realm into the physical.

When you journal, an energy connection is created between the non-physical realms (etheric, non-physical you) and the physical realm (where we live). The act of journaling is another way of receiving light from source.

The information moves through you energetically as it makes the journey from your higher self to your personality and physical self. You receive a tune-up and your batteries are charged for the time being.

What if you really want to journal but don’t have anything to write about? I have a few of my suggestions.

Write down.

  • Your blessings
  • Questions that have been struggling with and not finding the answers to
  • Your goals, intentions
  • Qualities you would like to embody for yourself
  • Prayers for yourself or others
  • Some of the areas in your life that you would like some assistance
  • What your best day ever would look like
  • Your achievements that were at one time challenges

I do suggest writing in your journal as often as possible. It does not matter what time of the day you journal. How, when, or where you write your entries is up to each individual.

Journaling is and does look different for each and every one of us. There really is no wrong way to journal, the simple action of putting thoughts to paper and allowing a steady stream of consciousness to flow will be a blessing for you.

Hopefully, you now have a different view on journaling and will either continue to journal or will begin a journaling practice, the pros most certainly outweigh the cons – which are simply remaining stagnant.

Happy Lunar New Year! 8 Ways To Make The Most Of The Year Of The Sheep

Just say baa! Today (Feb. 18, 2015) kicks off the Year of the Sheep (or Goat) in Chinese astrology. Bid adieu to the prancing, pompous Horse and all its 2014 fanfare.

Instead of galloping hooves and in-your-face flair, we have the contemplative and indirect Sheep ruling the cosmic vibes.

New to Chinese astrology? Here’s the bottom line: In addition to your Western-based Sun sign, you also have a Chinese astrology sign.

Based on a completely different system (which includes lunar calculations), the Chinese astrological calendar changes annually each January/February at the Aquarius new moon.

This is also the second Aquarius new moon in a row this year (the first, a supermoon, was on Jan. 20). Normally there is only one new moon per zodiac sign each year, so dial back a month to see what seeds you may have planted then.

You could experience a second round of developments as those seeds begin to bear fruit.

In Chinese astrology, the year of your birth can tell you a lot about your personality, interests and life path.

The last Sheep Year was in 2003, so look back to that time for clues — you may see some recurring themes in your life. Meantime, here are eight ways to make the most of this new lunar year:

1. Watch for passive-aggressiveness.

The Sheep can be a “woolly bully,” dominating others with mood swings and brooding. It’s associated with the Western sign of Cancer, which also exhibits these traits.

Take extra pains to say what you mean and mean what you say, but still approach everything with kindness.

2. Nurture a creative talent.

The Sheep Year can be a richly artistic time. If you can’t beat the overall sensitive mood, roll with it. Dive into your imagination and dreamy inner landscape.

See what kind of gorgeous creations come of it. Pick up Julia Cameron’s self-study guide, The Artist’s Way (or join a creative workshop) to get the ball rolling. Or, try journaling or even photography to let your right brain lead the way.

3. Healer, heal thyself.

Got baaaaaaggage? (Sorry, couldn’t resist another Sheep pun!) The Sheep Year can foster emotional and spiritual breakthroughs. While your emotions are this raw, you might as well examine and process them.

4. Don’t be afraid to take risks.

Superstitious lore in China, which is taken rather seriously there, considers this an “unlucky” year. Legend has it that Sheep are unlucky in business, marriage and love. Yikes!

Perhaps a more refined interpretation is that Sheep are incredibly sensitive, not steeped in the same material-world concerns as others. And when they follow that dreamy instinct, they can be pretty damn successful.

After all, both Steve Jobs and Bill Gates were born in Sheep Years, and well, they both did OK financially, didn’t they?

5. Hire an agent.

Another superstition is that Sheep are self-sabotaging, failing to protect themselves properly in business. So if during the Year of the Sheep, you feel overwhelmed by legal or professional regulations, team up with a pro to represent you.

6. Kick an addiction for good.

Escapism falls under the Sheep’s traits, and at the far end of the spectrum, this zodiac sign CAN be prone to addiction. (Kurt Cobain and Whitney Houston were both born under the Sheep sign.)

If you self-soothe through an unhealthy vice or dependency, the Sheep Year is a good time to seek treatment.

7. Find your flock.

As Mother Teresa said, “The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved.”

While Sheep have earned a negative reputation as followers, let’s question this. Human beings have a basic drive to belong. No, we shouldn’t mindlessly conform to the status quo.

But our culture of rugged individualism has also maligned the basic human need to commune. In the Sheep Year, indulge in the urge to rub woolly shoulders with like-minded peeps.

8. Do … nothing. Seriously.

Laziness — another big no-no in our uber-productive world — might be underrated, too. If you’ve gotten caught in the overscheduled, success-driven trap, it might be time to scale back.

Doing “nothing” (meditating, getting proper sleep, resetting, etc.) can actually create more positive results than being on the non-stop treadmill of life.

Scientists Discover That Eyes Are Windows To The Soul

eyeBy: Steven Bancarz / Source: Spirit Science and Metaphysics

The eye is the window to the universe, and some would say they are also windows to the soul.. We have heard this phrase get passed around before: “The eyes are the windows of the soul”.

People usually say this when they can see pain, anger, or some other emotion in somebody else’s eyes. But recent research gives a whole new meaning to this phrase. Eyes not only windows to emotions, they are windows to the soul.

How? The answer has to do with the actual eyeball itself. Everyone has a different structure of lines, dots and colours within the iris of their eye. Some people may have similar eye colour to each other, but the lines and dots on the iris are as unique as a fingerprint.

Although they vary from person to person, there are certain patterns contained within the iris which are widespread, and scientists at Orebro University in Sweden wanted to see if these patterns correlated with specific personality traits.

They focused on patterns in crypts (threads which radiate from the pupil) and contraction furrows (lines curving around the outer edge) which are formed when the pupils dilate.

The studied the eyes of 428 subjects to see if the crypts patters and contraction furrows reflected their character traits.

What they found

Their findings showed those with denselypacked crypts are more warmhearted, tender, trusting, and likely to sympathise with others. In comparison, those with more contraction furrows were more neurotic, impulsive and likely to give way to cravings.

It’s crazy to think how the markings on a person’s eyeball can reveal the most deep-rooted character traits of an individual.

There was an extremely strong correlation between a person’s iris and their personality traits. But correlation does not imply causation right? Right. But it appears as though both eye detail and a person’s character traits may be caused by the same thing.

The researchers said that eye structure and personality could be linked because the gene sequences responsible for developing the structure of the iris also contribute to the development of the frontal lobe of our brain, which is the motherboard of our personality.

“‘Our results suggest people with different iris features tend to develop along different personality lines,’ said Matt Larsson, a behavioural scientist who led the study at Orebro University. ‘

These findings support the notion that people with different iris configurations tend to develop along different trajectories in regards to personality. Differences in the iris can be used as a biomarker that reflects differences between people.’”

The scientists also mentioned something very interesting about a gene called PAX6, which controls the formation of the eye in the early stages of embryonic development.

Research has shown that mutation of the gene results in poor social skills, impulsiveness, and poor communication skills.

Eye colour reveals even more

According to researchers at Pittsburgh University, women with lighter colored eyes experience less pain during childbirth compared to women with darker eyes.

People with lighter eyes also consume significantly more alcohol, as darker eyed people require less alcohol to become intoxicated.

The reason boils down to genes. A senior lecturer in biomolecular sciences at Liverpool John Moores University said, “What we know now is that eye color is based on 12 to 13 individual variations in people’s genes… These genes do other things in the body.”

Take melanin, the pigment that makes eyes darker. Melanin may also makes people more susceptible to alcohol.

When psychologists at Georgia State University in Atlanta surveyed more than 12,000 men and women, they found those with light eyes consumed significantly more alcohol than those with dark eyes.

The reason brown-eyed people may drink less – and also be less likely to be alcoholics – is because they need less alcohol to become intoxicated.

Melanin not only determines eye darkness, it’s also an insulator for the electrical connections between brain cells.

The more melanin in the brain, the more efficiently, sensitively and faster the brain can work, the researchers reported in the journal Personality and Individual Differences. So the chemical responsible for eye darkness is also responsible for brain efficiency.

Eyes are literally the windows to the inner most aspects of our personality and character traits. If you look into someones eyes, you can easily tell if they are scared, sad, or worn down inside.

But if you look even closer, you will also be able to see what kind of psychology and personality that person has. Eyes are literally a window into people’s souls.
